A successful entrepreneur, business owner and banking executive, David established Castlewood Advisors in January 2011 after transitioning from a 15-year career as Managing Director & Group Head at RBC Daniels. Today, David utilizes his broad experience as an owner/operator, buyer, seller, lender and borrower to advise the firm’s media clients. David is well known for his expertise in the Out-of-Home Advertising, Digital Media, Television/Radio and Ad/Sponsorship businesses.
As both an entrepreneur and consultant, Rob MacMillan has developed large-scale Out-of-Home projects around the world – from New York City and London to Shanghai and Istanbul -- integrating real estate, technology and digital media. His projects have ranged from managing the turn-around of a Russian outdoor media and digital technology company, to producing “Operation New Year’s Eve,” a multi-media messaging and Times Square-based signage campaign for American service members. Mr. MacMillan combines operational experience with an innovator’s sensibility, serving clients and projects at the frontiers of today’s media landscape.
Mr. MacMillan spearheads Castlewood Advisors’ real estate-centric initiatives and international projects, as well as providing expertise on Digital Networks, Location-Based Mobile technologies, OOH Spectaculars, and new applications of Augmented and Virtual Reality.
